Puma is presenting new French 77 collection |
Puma is launching a new retro collection inspired by the Seventies. The line includes shirts, trainers, vintage looking T-shirts, shorts and accessories. The French 77 range was inspired by the legendary tennis players including Guillermo Vilas, John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg.
Puma has also presented a limited edition bag Stateside produced with American designer Heatherette and a model Lydia Hearst. The bag is silk lined and features a lap top pocket and detachable mirror in luxurious gold leather.
“The bag was inspired by Puma’s retro 70’s French 77 collection and was recently modelled by Elizabeth Jagger, Theodora Richards and Lydia Hearst in the glamorous setting of Monaco,” a spokesperson for Puma told Vogue.
“To redeem those awkward lipstick application problems in the back of cabs and stressful key-losing situations, the bag also contains a mini torch. A lifesaver for any woman who seems to keep the world in her bag!”
