Model Agyness Deyn signs as face of Reebok Freestyle |
 Model of the moment Agyness Deyn has been signed as the face of Reebok’s fashion range Reebok Freestyle. The collection is inspired by six cities - Tokyo, Paris, New Delhi, Madrid, London and New York - and the ambitious women within them.
Each city has its own pair of trainers, which in turn are paired with an inspiring star to represent them. Agyness Deyn represents London, while French singer Yelle is paired with Paris, Spanish model Bimba Bose stands for Madrid and dancer Ai Yasuda represents Tokyo. All glamorous women celebrated the European launch of the Reebok Freestyle Cities Collection this week in Paris.
Tokyo trainers have been launched already and they reflect the energy of the city with bold neon pops of colour. Freestyle Paris also made its retail debut and trainers are inspired by the famed French dance “The Can-Can.” Freestyle Paris features traditional colors reminiscent of the dance including red, pink and black.
 Freestyle New Dehli launches in May, Freestyle Madrid in July, Freestyle London in September and finally Freestyle New York will be available in November.
The Freestyle World Tour apparel collection features hoodies, ¾ length tees, track jackets, short sleeve tees and crew neck sweatshirts.
The Freestyle first appeared in the 1980s and is closely associated with the craze for aerobics that sprang up during that decade, and aerobic-inspired fashions such as leggings and legwarmers.
 Agyness Deyn, who is certainly the biggest star of the Reebok Freestyle campaign, has reportedly angered Nike bosses by becoming the face of rivals Reebok just months after she had been the guest of honour at a Nike ID launch party.
Many fashion industry insiders are calling Agyness Deyn the “New Kate Moss”. She’s walked the catwalk for Versace, Giles Deacon, Zac Posen, opened John Paul Gaultier’s 30th anniversary show and starred in ad campaigns for Burberry, Armani, Hugo Boss. She also fronted ad campaign of Giles Deacon’s fourth collection for New Look.
Deyn, who seems to be the queen of the UK fashion scene at the moment, won the “Model of the Year” award at the British Fashion Awards 2007 and she’s recently be named U.K.’s best dressed. Model Kate Moss topped the list the past two years. She came in second this year
