Actress Kate Winslet is a new face of Lancome’s Tresor fragrance |
Kate Winslet has been chosen to be a new face of Lancome’s Tresor fragrance. The ads with British actress are due to debut in September and will include press and TV campaigns. The Tresor fragrance was first released in 1990 and was previously fronted by legendary Isabella Rossellini.
Kate Winslet, who attended the Lancome party at the Rodin Museum in Paris, where she was revealed as the new face of the cosmetics firm, dressed in next season’s Valention black velvet and diamonds said she has only agreed to represent the brand because Lancome didn’t just want her for her good looks.
"I didn’t feel I was just being asked to be the face of something,” the actress explained. “It was me as a person… and my message to women - about being real in who you are and comfortable in your skin."
Kate Winslet, who is the best known for her roles in Titanic, Finding Neverland and Little Children, is married to director Sam Mendes with whom she has a son, Joe Alfie. She also has a daughter, Mia Honey, with first husband Jim Threapleton.
