The Black Eyed Peas star Fergie is the new face of Mac’s Viva Glam campaign, proceeds of which go to the MAC Aids Fund to support those living with the disease.
 “I have been a fan of Viva Glam for a long time. I have been following the campaign for years and I think it’s a great outreach,” she told WWD. “I have friends that are proud of being careless, that haven’t been infected or who have been and aren’t bothered by it. I want to educate people,” she added.
“MAC picks people like RuPaul, Mary J Blige - people that are a little controversial and aren’t afraid to speak their minds,” she said. “I’m very proud to be a part of it.”
Fergie, who is engaged to actor Josh Duhamel, will follow in the footsteps of Ms Dita Von Teese, who fronted last Mac’s Viva Glam campaign.
