 Key beauty trends for spring and summer include: colored eye shadow, stained lips, rosy cheeks, strong brows, flawless skin and voluminous and out-of-control hair.
This season isn’t only about bright clothes; bright is also make-up for the spring/summer 2008. We saw bright eyes at Karl Lagerfeld, Richard Nicoll, Missoni, Sonia Rykiel and Anna Sui. You should definitely buy couple of different shades to mix up, experiment and get different looks. Bold colours like blue, green or yellow are hot for spring but pastel colours as seen at John Galliano and Maxmara look pretty and delicate and are also summer staple. We saw smoky eyes inspired by Amy Winehouse look on the catwalk as well.
The new lip looks for spring are bold. From avant-grade green and blue
at Vuitton and Valentino, strong red at Todd Lynn and claret at
Dolce&Gabbana, to glossy cerise at House of Holland. We can forget
about nudes this season, it’s all about experimenting with bold colours.

Supermodel Kate Moss launches her first fragrance |
Kate Moss has launched her own signature perfume, named simply Kate. The delicate, daytime scent, created witch Coty, blends lily of the valley, magnolia and roses. Moss explained she wanted the scent to have “a vintage English feel”, and be a symbol of both her “good” and “bad” sides. “I tried to encompass everything that I feel about being feminine and a bit rock ‘n roll, a bit edgy and a bit light, a bit dark,” she said.

Actress Kate Winslet is a new face of Lancome’s Tresor fragrance |
 Kate Winslet has been chosen to be a new face of Lancome’s Tresor fragrance. The ads with British actress are due to debut in September and will include press and TV campaigns. The Tresor fragrance was first released in 1990 and was previously fronted by legendary Isabella Rossellini.
Kate Winslet, who attended the Lancome party at the Rodin Museum in Paris, where she was revealed as the new face of the cosmetics firm, dressed in next season’s Valention black velvet and diamonds said she has only agreed to represent the brand because Lancome didn’t just want her for her good looks.

Beyonce to be the face of Armani’s perfume, Emporio Armani Diamonds |
 Beyonce Knowles is set to be the face - and voice - of Giorgio Armani’s new perfume, Emporio Armani Diamonds. The singer will not only appear in ads for the new fragrance, but will also lend her voice to a TV advertising campaign. The new perfume will be out in September.
“They have known each other for seven years, and Armani feels Beyonce represents the glamour and glitz of the fragrance,” a source told the New York Post.
“There is no one today who transcends music, film and fashion in the way that Beyonce does. There really was only one choice,” Giorgio Armani told WWD.
