Jessica Simpson felt hurt after seeing Nick Lachey with another woman |
Jessica Simpson has said that seeing Nick Lachey with another woman after their split was very painful. “Oh, it hurt me,” Simpson tells Elle Magazine in its March issue. “Two or three weeks later? Yeah, I’d say it kind of hurt me.”
 Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey separated in June 2005, and filled for divorce in December 2005. Lachey was linked to several women after the couple separated, including Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari. Simpson’s ex husband now seems to be very happy in love with MTV’s TRL Vanessa Minnillo, whom he’s been dating for nine months.
Jessica Simpson, who has been spending a lot of time with John Mayer recently, says that she’s still in touch with Nick Lachey. “He’s so much a part of my life, how could I not be? Any guy who’s going to be with me from this day forward has to understand that.”
According to People Magazine Jessica Simpson didn’t admit she’s dating John Mayer in the Elle’s interview. “I want to tell you everything, but I have to sew my lips together,” she said. “It’s hurt me in the past,” she added.
According to the Star Magazine Simpson and Mayer will attend Grammy Awards as a couple. The event will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 11. John Mayer, who has been nominated for five Grammys including the prestigious Album of the Year is also scheduled to perform at the event.
