Burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese to divorce Marilyn Manson |
Burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese has reportedly filed for divorce from rocker Marilyn Manson. The eccentric couple, who began dating in 2001 was married just for one year and had no children.
 In the divorce papers Von Teese (real name Heather Sweet) cites “irreconcible differences” as the reason for the split from Manson (real name Brian Warner). Reportedly Dita Von Teese wanted to split before Christmas but she couldn’t get in touch with her husband. Von Teese is not making any claims for spousal support.
“He's not been responsive, she loved him so much, but he has too many demons. He can't even communicate with her at this point. She tried telling him she was divorcing him, but she can't get him on the phone”- a friend of Von Teese has said.
Dita Von Teese is a common fixture in the front row of the audience at fashion shows. During the Autumn/Winter 2006/2007 Milan Fashion Week Von Teese was on the catwalk, opening the Moschino label, Moschino Cheap & Chic. Burlesque dancer, who has appeared in Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle and international issues of nearly every fashion magazine, recently has been chosen to be the face of Australian clothing brand Wheels and Dollbaby for their Spring/Summer 2007 advertising campaign.
Marilyn Manson is reportedly working on his next album in Los Angeles.
