Christina Aguilera to launch her own perfume |
 Christina Aguilera has announced that she is planning to launch her own fragrance with Procter & Gamble Prestige Products. The perfume is expected to hit stores towards the end of the year.
"I love trying new things in my music and in fashion(..) To have a perfume of my own is the beginning of an exciting adventure. P&G is the ideal partner for this new experience."
Christina is following in the footsteps of many other celebrities. Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Sarah Jessica Parker, David and Victoria Beckham, Gwen Stefani and Beyoncé Knowles all have their own perfumes.
The famous singer has recently ended her European Back to Basic Tour and she will soon tour blues and jazz clubs in North America starting February 20 2007 in Houston and wrapping up on May 5 in Florida. Aguilera's third English studio album Back to Basics, which was released on August 15, 2006 has managed to sell 3 million copies worldwide in just four months.
