Singer James Blunt and model Petra Nemcova have split up |
British singer and Czech model have split up after realising that they are so tied up in their works, that they had no time to spend with each other. “They split in February. It’s very amicable,” a source close to Blunt told People magazine. “They remain good friends.”
 The British singer and the model reportedly ended their relationship, after they were seen together at Elton John’s Academy Awards after party.
Nemcova and Blunt, a former British Army captain, met in December 2005 and started dating the following year. It was model’s first serious relationship since losing her fiancé Simon Atlee in the Asian tsunami disaster in 2004.
Rumors are that Blunt is currently seeing American actress Lindsay Lohan, and was pictured going back to her Beverly Hills home last week.
Petra Nemcova became a model after being spotted at the age of 16 during a national talent search. She was featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and has amongst others modeled for Victoria’s Secret.
