Actress Sarah Jessica Parker is launching her own fashion line |
 Former ‘Sex and the City’ star Sarah Jessica Parker is launching her own fashion line, called Bitten. The actress will present a private view of her new line at an exclusive lunch for top fashion editors today.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, the star’s first fashion line is quite similar to the more adult collection put together by the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
“Details on the collection, including price point, target audience, and manufacturer, remain tight-lipped, but many insiders are already comparing it to The Row, the fashion line developed by the Olsen twins,” the WWD stated.
Sarah Jessica Parker has become a fashion icon when she starred in the hit series ‘Sex and the City’. “Sarah is an unintentional supermodel. She’s also a woman, like a lot of women out there, who has attained her own good looks and style. She could be wearing nothing but whipped cream and she would look fabulous,” Patricia field, stylist on the show said.
The actress, who won the Fashion Icon Award at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Awards in 2004, launched a successful fragrance, Lovely, in 2005. She has also been a model for fashion retailer Gap.
She hosted the MTV Movie Awards in 2000 and appeared in no less than 15 different costumes throughout the show. Parker, who is considered one of the more stylish celebrities, has become very influential in the world of fashion.
